Floristry Fridays four week course
Mum and baby pick your own
A special mum and baby edition of pick your own flowers. Arrive from 10am, we’ll do a little welcome intro and go round at 10.30 and I’ll do a little floristry demo then too.
Come and spend some time in the garden, meet and chat with other mums, and cut a jar of your own flowers to take home. There will be tea and coffee and treats available throughout.
This is an opportunity to take a few hours to unwind, to reconnect to yourself and to nature, and to enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of the farm. Hopefully your little one will enjoy it too!
This session is more about spending time in the garden and with your baby and other mums than it is about the flowers you take home (in order to make it more affordable) - but if you’d like to pay extra on the day to upgrade your jar to a bucket please let me know.
You’ll be given a pair of snips and a jam jar to pick into and will have free rein over the garden, picking whatever takes your fancy, whatever colour combination. Take your time and enjoy the scents and colours and sounds of the flower garden.
Children of all ages are welcome but if your little one is old enough to want to pick their own jar of flowers please buy them a child ticket.
We will be outside so dress yourself and your little one for the weather! Bring a cushion and a blanket if you’d like to for sitting on the grass - the ground is really the only place in the garden where you have a backrest for breastfeeding.
Google maps will get you to the farm but sat nav will often take you somewhere else. Our drive is easy to miss so go slow - we’re opposite Kiddal Hall. Press the green button to open the gate. Follow the signs for parking and make your way through the gate saying Sammie’s Flowers - it’s opposite you as you enter the yard. Call if you get lost on 07458011574.

Mum and baby photo add on from Charlotte at Grace and Graft
Amongst the flowers, I’ll be offering a small number of relaxed photography sessions for you and your little ones.
Nothing posed or overthought, just you as you are. Holding them close, wandering, sitting in the grass. Those in-between moments that so often go unnoticed.
Slots are available on June 24th, August 19th and September 16th.
Sessions last 15 minutes, allowing you still plenty of time to enjoy the flower farm at your own pace.
Sessions are £50 and include 5 images delivered via a private digital album, with the option to upgrade to the full gallery.
Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
For all bookings, please email Charlotte at hello@graceandgraft.co.uk with quoting “Kiddal Quarry Farm”, your name, preferred date and number of people. We will then let you know what times are available and get you booked in!
We look forward to hearing from you!

Come and spend some time in the garden and cut your own flowers to take home. This is an opportunity for anyone to take an hour out of their busy lives to unwind, to reconnect to themselves and to nature, and to just enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of the farm. Taking your flowers home with you, you’ll have the chance to explore your floral creativity at your own leisure, creating something beautiful for your own kitchen table or to gift to a loved one.
There will be a pair of snips and a slim metal bucket waiting for you by the gate into the garden - please pick into the bucket to give your flowers the best start. Please be respectful of the garden, especially the small shrubs, leaving some for the next person. Feel free to strip the foliage from the bottom half of the stem straight onto the ground as you pick to save yourself a job at home.
Please bring a clean bucket to take your flowers home in.
Wear sturdy shoes for exploring the garden and dress for the weather!

Please note that PYO slots are £27.50 for 1 person and 1 bucket. If you’d like to bring an extra person, but just pick one bucket of flowers, each extra person is £5 (children 11 and under are free). Timeslots are now 2 hours - you can arrive anytime but please leave before the end of your slot to make buckets and snips available for the next time slot - thank you!

Come and spend some time in the garden and cut your own flowers to make a beautiful bouquet to take home. This is an opportunity for anyone to take a few hours out of their busy lives to unwind, to reconnect to themselves and to nature, to enjoy the sights and sounds and smells of the farm and to explore their floral creativity.
You will be guided by me in making a beautiful bouquet. I’ll walk you through my creative process as I make a sample bouquet and then give you time and space to create your own. There are some pointers which I hope you’ll find helpful, but this is your creation and I’ll only help if you ask me to!
Once you’ve seen my demo you’ll be given a pair of snips and a slim metal bucket to pick into which will comfortably hold a large handful of flowers.
You will have free reign over the garden, picking whatever takes your fancy, whatever colour combination. No flowers are off limits, although you will be given guidance on how best to pick for the health of the plant and the longevity of your flowers.
Please bring a clean bucket to take your bouquet home in. I’ll tie and wrap your bouquet to take away if you’d like me to.
Wear sturdy shoes for exploring the garden and dress for the weather!

FLORISTRY FRIDAYS
Four weeks of Friday morning floristry to act as an intro to arranging with British flowers. Open to all skill levels but especially aimed at those new to floristry or this kind of relaxed, sustainable floristry.
Each visit you’ll pick a selection of flowers from the garden and I’ll walk you through a new floral creation - from spiral bouquet in week 1, to bowl arrangement in week 2, to fresh flower crown in week 3 and finally to a large vase arrangement in week 4.
I’ll share all I know along the way and will of course answer any questions you have about flower growing and floristry. I’ll create a group WhatsApp for any questions in between sessions.
Just 8 places available in order to ensure I can give each person the help they need :-)
September 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 10-12. Book here.
